InfoTech Talent Trends 2025

InfoTech Talent Trends 2025 is out and we're not surprised these 6 top trends are significantly impacted by Org Behavior and Change Management. 👇

The bottom line: Ensure you don't have outdated leadership skills and invest in your talent!

• Only 15% of leaders feel like they have change-ready skills (Forbes, 2024)

• Only 20% of employees strongly agree that they trust the leadership of their organization (“Leadership & Management,” Gallup, 2024)

• 47% of CEOs do not feel ready for the pace of change technology will bring about (Accenture, 2024).

To overcome rapid changes in tech and business, leaders need to provide more than vision and insight, they need people focused solutions that build trust.

These trends highlight the need for leaders to be skilled change agents. Leaders with the capability to accurately assessing their organizations and teams and adapt before they are impacted. This requires an understanding of Org Behavior and Change Management.

People, Processes, Technology? Technology is rapidly changing processes and outpacing investments in employee skills. Why do employees feel out of touch with leaders?

• 47% of Gen Z workers believe chatbots provide better advice than their managers (Computerworld, 2024).

• 58% of business leaders are worried about keeping up with the pace of technology change (IT Pro, 2024).

While there are some bombshell statistics, this report makes claims about talent shortages that we completely disagree with. Statistics show hundreds of thousands of layoffs the last few years in the tech field. Job postings are receiving thousands of applicants within hours and numerous conversations about the lack of jobs and issues with hiring practices can be found on LinkedIn. We believe the claims of talent shortages are lead mostly by schools, certification authorities, and tech boot camps who have a significant interest in bringing new candidates into the workforce.

The talent shortage is clearly at the leadership level. Issues presented by these statistics are solved by leaders skilled in organizational behavior and change management.
